A Mountain Love Story: M&M’s Wedding at Edelweiss Ranch
On September 20, 2025, we had the joy of hosting the wedding of Matthew and Molly—a celebration rooted in adventure, family, and a love story that began in the mountains.
From a Chance Meeting to Forever
M & M first met in Big Sky, Montana, during what was supposed to be a casual night out with friends. Molly found herself sitting next to a handsome stranger named Matthew for hours, trading playful trash talk ahead of the community basketball tournament they were both playing in the following morning.
After the tournament, they did not see each other again for months until the two crossed paths again at the same bar. Matthew spotted Molly across the room and called her over—a seemingly simple moment that would change the course of their lives.
Their relationship continued to grow through their shared love of the mountains and the outdoors, eventually leading them to build a life together in Teton Valley.
Just over a year after they met, Matthew planned a sunset picnic by the Teton River. Molly didn't even look at the ring before tackling him with a resounding yes.
Why Edelweiss Ranch
As they looked for the place to gather with family and friends and celebrate their marriage, Molly’s family proposed Edelweiss Ranch. Nestled in the Big Hole mountains, with views of the Teton Range, the ranch showcased all the beauty that drew the couple to move to Driggs. Edelweiss Ranch was a private refuge where M & M’s families could come together in a relaxed and wild way. The kids could frolic in the fields, guests could enjoy a beverage in The Snug, and the dancing could last all night.
A Wedding in Teton Valley
On September 20, 2025, the ranch provided a natural backdrop for a reception that felt both elegant and distinctly Western. Tracey Garcia made sure Molly looked her best. MD Floral designed the bouquet. Sarah Glover of The Wild Kitchen Global spent 12 hours cooking a wedding feast. The Wild Wagon Saloon crew kept the guests hydrated with the help of the Happy Hour Beer Burros and a brew canoe designed by the bride herself. The Gabel Brother and The Tiny Band kept the party going, and Kinsey Skye captured every moment.
The boisterous celebration reflected the couple's adventurous spirit and deep connection to the mountain West.
