Easter at Edelweiss
Easter at Edelweiss carried a joy that we wish we could bottle up. On perhaps the warmest Easter in Teton Valley history, we invited friends and family to join us at Edelweiss for an impromptu Easter egg hunt, and a made from scratch picnic; dogs allowed and encouraged.
The table was spread with homemade sourdough biscuits complemented by a whipped herb butter mountain, a blueberry lemon cake with lavender vanilla buttercream, prosciutto melon skewers, and barbecue ribs.
Having fueled up on the irresistible spread, the men were ready for their Easter egg hunt. The frenzy was heightened when word got out that the golden egg was filled with fly-fishing flies. With access to 160 acres, there was a lot of ground to cover. Dogs were employed to help sniff out the prizes, but the pups were content staying by the grill.
We didn’t know that watching our friends sprint through the Aspen grove, bunny ears atop cowboy hats, would be so hilarious. Soon, the eggs were found and the prizes bartered and dealt. Afternoon gave way to dusk and we relished another beautiful day coming to a close in Teton Valley.
Cheers to more celebrations to come at Edelweiss Ranch.
